Today, with the help of Industrial Abseiling Ltd, we went and removed the eggs from the nest box, and the bit of egg shell remaining from the egg Charlie ate. Tom and Charlie gave us a bit of a show beforehand with Tom bringing food for C, but she was full and not interested. Much chatting :)
Weather was pretty good for it, i.e. not wind or rain, though views over London were not too clear. Process went smoothly and the eggs and remains will make their way to PBMS for analysis. Brief test on the 2 remaining eggs showed they were infertile, only liquid inside. The inside of the other egg looked a bit weird but it's been out in mud and rain for a while so it is hard to say.
David, thanks so much for your help!
On other news, PF may have finally left, I haven't had a confirmed sighting in about 2 weeks (but I was also away for most of last week). At about the same time T&C started perching side by side and do courtship displays. Tom has also been in the box scraping a few times.

Before that, Tom was in the nestbox for quite a while. Charlie joined him for a while, and they had a courtship display, then Tom went for a quick drink on the ledge (the first time I catch him on camera doing it!) ... See MoreSee Less

Charlie tried to eat the eggs again today, but it doesn't seem that she managed to break into them this time. ... See MoreSee Less

Today, I saw Tom and Charlie perched side by side for the first time in a very long time :) No photo but here are a few shots from the ledge camera: Tom spent a long time on the 12th floor of the North wing and Charlie did a very brief visit to the nest box (but didn't eat any eggs). ... Totally out of the blue, Charlie went into the next box this morning and ate one of the eggs! It looks like it was egg #3 and that there was a dead chick in it (though it's hard to say how advanced it might have been) ... See MoreSee Less

A few shots of Charlie on the ledge today, she came here to eat a Pigeon and disrupted a Pied Wagtail which was looking for food before she arrived. Once the Wagtail realised Charlie was otherwise occupied it resumed its foraging on the ledge for nearly 10 minutes. The shots of a Wagtail at the end is from yesterday, they seem to visit daily at the moment. ... See MoreSee Less

It's still happy families at CXH... Spotted all 3 Peregrines this afternoon while running errands. Even more, initially, Tom and PF were sitting on the same side at the same level, unfortunately Tom went hunting before I could take a shot... ... See MoreSee Less

PF on the nestbox and Tom just around the corner this afternoon.
Witnessed something interesting this evening, PF was beg-calling at Charlie, Charlie was responding in a similar manner. It turned out she had food but didn't want to share. She flew off, but came back and landed not far from PF, PF was still begging but she started to echup and bow as in a courtship display. Charlie then flew off again (we found her on the South Wing later). I am going to try and post a video next I took on my phone where you can hear them.
